Use 3ds Max to create a simple model of the interior of a room that you can load in Vizard. To do this yourself all you will need is six pictures of the six faces of the room that you want to replicate in your Vizard virtual world. The video tutorial provided will quide you through creating your room model in Max, exporting the model, and using it in Vizard.

Key points covered in this video tutorial are:

  • Setting Max's units of measurement to match with Vizard's.
  • Creating a box and flipping the six faces.
  • Applying the pictures as textures to the faces.
  • Flipping the UV maps of the faces.
  • Exporting to .ive, the compiled OSG format.
  • Loading the .ive within Vizard.
